Make these 3 things today.
Tropical Mango Baked Oatmeal, Kimchi Fried Rice and Sweet and Sour Chicken. And go call your besties.
I don’t know about you, but for me the week flew by in a flash! Life needs to slow down sometimes.
I went to a funeral visitation this week that was a really touching celebration of one man’s life. The family and life he had created is pretty remarkable and he was well known in his community. The stories as we made our way through the family were rich with laughter and great memories. All of his kids pointing at each other and joking about who gave dad the hardest time growing up. His daughter remarked, “He gave us such a great life.”
Ever since then I keep thinking about all of the visitors who came through the line. All connected somehow and brought together just by one person. Even though he built a really successful career, his life was so grand beyond the fortune because of all of those relationships he had cultivated.
And the very next day I headed to a bridal shower which was not only beautifully done but a day full of promise and new things to come. Someone just at the start of this stage of life as a new family. Again, there is that one person, that beautiful bride-to-be bringing a room full of people together.
Relationships make people live more happier, healthier and satisfied lives. That’s it. Full stop.
Life sure is grand isn’t it?
I’m just feeling all the good feels this week and happy to be here with you.
Below are some of my favourite meal prep recipes for you.
